To those cast, congratulations! If you are reading this notice at the Greensboro Cultural Center, please initial next to your name to confirm acceptance of your role. If you are reading it on our website, please e-mail Stage Manager, Rachel Downey at ranndowney@hotmail.com to confirm acceptance of role ( or if you have any concerns). First meeting is MONDAY, JUNE 9th at 7:00 PM in the same room you auditioned in at the Greensboro Cultural Center. Scripts and a more detailed rehearsal schedule will be given out at that time.

Looking for a diverse cast - a real melting pot of the community:  male, female, all ages, races, and backgrounds.

Centerstage Auditions


Centerstage is a prestigious opportunity for experienced performers in grades 6th-12th . Founded in 2006, Centerstage is an audition-only troupe that meets the needs of experienced young actors. Once accepted, students work with professional instructors concentrating on ACTING AND MUSICAL THEATRE.


This session culminates in a professional level performance and students will attend the MTI International Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, GA, January 16-19, 2009.  This semester will focus on diction, voice development, theatre dance, character development and headshots/resumes.

 

Students should prepare a song with sheet music or CD. 

 

Class time will be Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30pm Tuition is $400 or 4 payments of $115

 

Auditions for placement in Centerstage will be from 6- 9pm on Wednesday, August 27
